I don’t do challenges. I just paint
Me encantan tus pinturas, sigue así, eres una gran artista.
¡Muchísimas gracias! Eso me llena el corazón
If you were the last person on earth, nobody else around at all, ever, and all your needs for survival and comfort were met ... would you still paint?
Yes! Without a doubt. Honestly, that question is kind of the whole point of this post... painting has to belong to me first, or it doesn't work at all. If anything, your question made me realize I should ask myself that more often. Thank you
I hear you. Unfortunately how it works sometimes is the best things come through adversity.
So true. And the frustrating part is you never know in the moment - you only see it looking back
I’ve only recently noticed my critical eye, although painful to see out of, was actually making me a better painter
yes! the critical eye is a gift in disguise — painful to have, but it means you actually see
And yes, it’s usually in hindsight- I wish I had done it this way, do I have time to go back and change it?
